SDG Infographic Poster

Over four weeks, we designed a finished infographic poster. The data came from the United Nations‘ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using this data, I gained a deeper understanding of Excel, cleaned the data, and developed a design and narrative.

Challenge

SDG Target 17.6 tracks global fixed broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants by speed, but its underlying data is buried in a dense, policy-heavy spreadsheet.

Complex international data often fails to engage the public or decision-makers because it lacks visual clarity. Working with global data presented technical hurdles: many countries lack reliable records, and available numbers were often too small to visualize effectively across all three internet speeds.

The challenge was selecting a curated dataset that highlights progress while bringing attention to underdeveloped regions that still need growth.
